Lenny

We recently had a project to design a spring summer collection for Brazillian swim wear brand Lenny. I took my inspiration from crime and gun culture in South America, the idea of crime being commercialised as seen in places such as La Paz prison in Bolivia. I wanted to combine prints inspired by gun shots with tongue in cheek tourist silhouettes.

Niki De Saint Phalle encased paint in canvas and then shot at it.

Print ideas, developed by shooting parcels of ink suspended infront of white silk.

Rough designs for swimwear/coverups.

Photos of final pieces will follow!

Adidas Project

Here are some pages from my current sketchbook, I am working on a project to be inspired by sportswear/fashion collaborations. I've chose to work for Adidas and specifically Y-3. I'm looking at Terry Gilliams 1985 film 'Brazil', and the idea of obsession leading to mental illness.
